Watch: Biden, first lady host event marking 12th anniversary of DACA

President Biden and first lady Jill Biden hosted a White House event marking the 12th anniversary of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which protects migrants lacking certain documentation who came to the U.S. as children from deportation.

The Biden campaign recently released an ad highlighting individuals who have benefited from the program. The campaign seeks to draw a contrast with the policies of former President Trump, which it characterizes as broadly hostile toward those who attempt to cross the border.
