Dramatic bodycam footage shows the NYPD's urgent rescue of a man who'd fallen onto the subway tracks.

The man had suffered a medical emergency and lay sprawled near the electrified third rail at the Third Avenue/149th St Station in New York City.

With a train approaching in the distance, officers from the 47th Precinct leaped into action. Footage shows them rushing through the crowd, jumping down onto the tracks, and hauling the man to the safety of the platform in the nick of time with help from bystanders.
