Suki Waterhouse rang in the new year by doing her laundry.

The Daisy Jones & the Six actress, 31, shared a video on Instagram on Dec. 31, in which she explained that she was a “changed woman” because she used to shoot videos with stains on her clothes, but now she’s “learned how to clean and become an adult woman.” She goes on to demonstrate how she washes a Dior dress in the sink.

The video, which the mom-to-be filmed in her home in London is part of The Laundress’ “Love at First Wash” campaign.

And while viewers loved getting a glimpse of the singer’s growing bump in her crop top (she's expecting her first child with boyfriend Robert Pattinson), it was a seemingly unintentional move that lit up the comments.

At the end of the clip, Waterhouse is wearing the sheer Dior dress and accidentally positions one of the billowing sleeves over the flame of one of the candles flickering around the sink.

“Not you almost setting your dior dress on fire 😭” wrote one commenter.

“Me putting the 🔥 emoji the other day before realizing you almost caught the dress on fire 😅🥹🫣” said another.

Luckily, the dress, which Waterhouse jokingly says she prefers to hand wash because “it makes me feel like a prairie girl in the 1950s,” was unscathed.

Even the star’s mom commented on the video, messaging Waterhouse that she was proud of her daughter’s new skill.

Waterhouse, who has been in a relationship with Pattinson for over five years, also sparked engagement buzz with her partner in recent weeks when she was photographed wearing a diamond ring. A source confirmed their engagement to PEOPLE, saying that "they both want to be married. It’s important for them."

"They are ready for a child and looking forward to becoming parents. Even though they are both professionals who work a great deal, this is something they want," another source added.
