Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored an incredible overhead-kick in LA Galaxy’s MLS defeat to New England Revolution.

With the Los Angeles-based side trailing 2-0 with just six minutes left, the 37-year-old took two touches to set himself up.

He then acrobatically fired the ball past Brad Knighton in the New England net for a goal of the season contender.

The former Barcelona, Manchester United and PSG striker has been known for scoring incredible goals throughout his career and even found the back of the net from 30 yards with an overhead-kick against England in 2012.

But Ibrahimovic wasn’t in the mood for receiving praise following the outrageous goal, his 11th of the season.

LA Galaxy have now lost their last three games at home in a row and sit nine points behind the MLS Western Conference leaders and their closest neighbours Los Angeles FC.

The Swede explained: "This one I need to forget as soon as possible. Even if you score a goal of the year, this is one to forget very fast.

"Maybe this is who we are, to be realistic. We have ups and downs and the reality will catch you sooner or later.

"We just have to do our best and fight for it."
