SINGAPORE — West Mall and Bukit Batok ActiveSG Gym were among the new locations added by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to the list of public places visited by COVID-19 cases in the community recently.

The other locations are Gek Poh Shopping Centre at Jurong West, Standing Sushi Bar at The Heart, Marina One Show Gallery, Decathlon at FairPrice Hub at Joo Koon Circle, Evolution Hub shop at Jurong West, Tang Tea House at Jurong West, Sheng Siong Supermarket at Teban Gardens Road, and Food Paradise at Bukit Batok.

The dates visited in the list were from 23 July to 4 August, the MOH said on Thursday (6 August).

“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection,” the MOH added.

The list – which excludes residences, workplaces, healthcare facilities, and public transport – will be updated on a rolling 14-day basis or one incubation period. First published on 25 May, the list compiles places visited by infectious cases in the community for over 30 minutes.

On the same day, the MOH confirmed 301 new COVID-19 cases, bringing Singapore’s total to 54,555.
