Netflix is preparing to release a host of new content in February, which means that some films and TV shows from its back catalogue are going to be removed to make way for it.
That means subscribers better be quick if they want to catch them before they leave for good. From classic movies to hit shows of yesteryear, there is an array of content being removed from the 1 to 17 February that some viewers may well miss.
What is leaving Netflix UK in February 2024?
The first of the month is, as expected, the biggest day for removals on Netflix with a number of films like Ridley Scott's war epic Black Hawk Down being removed. Other films being taken off the streaming platform include Eddie Murphy's 1984 classic Beverly Hills Cop, and 2016 reboot Ghostbusters: Answer the Call.

Fans of Channel 4's hit unscripted series Come Dine With Me will have to bid farewell to multiple seasons of the series, with old episodes being taken off Netflix from 2 February. Meanwhile families who enjoy animated series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir will need to catch up quick as the show is also being removed on the same day.
Elsewhere, 2021 films Ghostbusters: Afterlife is leaving the platform on 10 February, and Bradley Cooper's critically-acclaimed film American Sniper is being taken off it on 12 February. Denis Villeneuve may be preparing to release the next Dune film soon, but his 2015 hit Sicario is being removed from Netflix on 5 February, so fans of the director better check it out quickly.
Showtime's hit series Homeland is also being removed in its entirety on 17 February. Starring Claire Danes and Damian Lewis, the series followed a CIA agent as she dealt with terrorist threats and risked everything, including her mental health, in order to seek out justice.
Even Netflix originals aren't immune from the cull, as Bangkok Love Stories: Innocence is being removed from the streamer on 7 February. Some hit comedies are also being removed from Netflix in February like Bridesmaids, which leaves on 16 February, and She's the Man, which is being taken off on the 6th.
