The Smithscript Greathammer is a Greathammer found in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, and it features a fantastic moveset that is guaranteed to make it one of the game’s most sought-after weapons. This unique Greathammer can be thrown by using your heavy attack, giving it some limited ranged capabilities without sacrificing the big melee damage that comes with its massive size.

Smithscript Greathammer has a weight of 9.0 and requires the following stats to wield:
STR - 20
DEX - 10
INT - 11
FAI - 11
The weapon comes equipped with Ash of War: Endure. This Ash of War increases your poise and all absorptions by 45% for a few seconds while you assume a stance. This makes it great for reducing damage of big attacks that could otherwise be deadly.
The Smithscript Greathammer can be upgraded to +25 with standard Smithing Stones.

Where to find Smithscript Greathammer
You can find the Smithscript Greathammer in Taylew’s Ruined Forge, a dungeon in Scadu Altus. You can reach it by heading just north of the Ancient Ruins Base Site of Grace.
Once inside Taylew’s Ruined Forge, make your way down some stairs, then a ladder, then jump over the gap ahead. To your left here you’ll find a stone golem and the Smithscript Axe, if you’re also interested in adding that to your collection.
Continue along the main path until you reach a giant column suspended above lava. Jump to it, then you’ll notice you can jump across again to reach the other side. Here, you’ll need to kill a slime before you head behind some debris to find the one and only Smithscript Greathammer.
