Siloso Beach Party
Dance your way through five different venues at Siloso Beach in Sentosa with its New Year’s Eve Countdown party. Amp up the fun factor by playing in the foam pool (pictured above), the Wet Dance Zone and Water Drums, or just shake your booty on the sand at Café Del Mar, Wave House and Coastes. $49; www.silosobeachparty.com

Celebrate 2012 at The Float @ Marina Bay
Enjoy performances from artistes like Sezairi Sezali, Sylvia Ratonel and Siti Nurhaliza, as well as a spectacular fireworks display over the Marina Bay area and Singapore city skyline. $25

Countdown @ Boon Lay 2012

Relive the good old days of Singapore’s history with a Retro Era and Kampong Days exhibition at Boon Lay Place. Watch performances by local artistes and a mid-level fireworks display at the stroke of midnight. Internet sensation Yam Ah Mee will also make an appearance. Free entrance

Longvale RC Christmas-New Year Party
Organised by the Longvale RC Youth Chapter, this event will take place from 2:30pm to 5pm at Blk 775, Multi-Purpose Hall Bedok Reservoir View. Catering mostly to elderly residents, it includes an interactive popiah and kueh pie tee making, caroling and interactive games. Free entrance

Sembawang GRC Countdown 2012
To be held at the open field beside the Woodlands Civic Centre, the countdown party will feature a dance showcase by youth volunteers and interactive games booths. Expect the sky to light up over the area with a mid-level fireworks display. Free entrance

Punggol East Year-End Countdown

Watch the Talent Mania Finals, a platform for residents to showcase their talents, at Harmony Square. Pen well wishes on Sky Lanterns, walk around a flea market and take in a fireworks display too. Free entrance

Tanjong Pagar & Radin Mas Countdown Party
Make your way down to Tiong Bahru Park, where local indie bands like Eleventh Hour and Juz Members will be performing. DJ Andrew T from the Butter Factory will also be spinning, while MediaCorp Artistes Rui En and Hady Mirza will be making an appearance. Expect to be delighted by a Japanese Hula dance, belly dance and a mid-level fireworks display. Free entrance
