White House holds press briefing: Watch live

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, flanked by national security communications adviser John Kirby, will deliver the daily press briefing Tuesday morning.

President Biden’s age continues to be a point of concern among Senate Democrats in terms of electability, according to a senator speaking on condition of anonymity. However, the same source found Democrats and their peers aren’t noticing any decline in the president’s job performance.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration has expressed confidence in Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s fitness to serve despite his continued medical difficulties.

The briefing is scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m. EST.
