Amid the buzz that Congress president Rahul Gandhi had offered to resign following the party’s debacle in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, it was clarified that the reports are incorrect.

Rahul Gandhi thus is likely to continue as the party president.

However, a lot of people think that for the Congress to revive itself, it needs a major churn and a new boss.
