It’s hard to believe that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, aka “Swelce,” are only just approaching the one-year mark in their whirlwind romance. From internet-breaking appearances during the Kansas City Chiefs star’s road to the Super Bowl to recently performing together during Swift’s London Eras Tour stop, the power couple have made time for each other in their busy schedules–and things are reportedly getting “very serious.” An inside source told People that Swift and Kelce’s relationship feels “different” for both of them as they start planning for the the future.

Fresh off reports that Kelce's bold Eras Tour cameo for “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” took their relationship to the next level–after all, the athlete showed he can match Swift’s freak by going all out with his costume and his role in the performance–things are going better than ever for the pair. A source told the publication that both Kelce and Swift feel like this relationship is unlike other ones they’ve been in in the past.

“They have so much fun together, and it just works,” an insider told the publication about the couple’s unlikely dynamic. “It’s funny to their friends because at first, everyone wondered what they had in common, but you realize how similar they are. They both wear their hearts on their sleeves and are all-in with everything they do, whether it’s with career, family, or friends.”

Now that they’re getting into the swing of summer, both Swift and Kelce are feeling the love and continuing to prioritize spending as much time with each other as possible as her tour continues and he gears up for football season.

“They really are very, very happy together,” the source added. “They’re very serious about each other, and the relationship feels different for both of them.”

While Kelce will be getting back into football mode as soon as July 21 with a stint at the Chiefs training camp ahead of the 2024 season, he’s still hoping to support Swift from afar.

“Football is definitely still his priority but so is his relationship,” the source said. “He makes romantic gestures to show he’s thinking of her when they’re apart.” Fans can also expect to see the “So High School” singer back in the Kansas City Chiefs bleachers, as the insider noted, “She’s going to try to attend as many games as possible.”
