The Wiggles' John Pearce Expecting First Baby with Wife Jessie: 'Our Beautiful Angel'

The former 'Australia's Got Talent' winner and 'The Wiggles' star shared the exciting news on Instagram

The Wiggles family is growing!

On Thursday, June 20, John Pearce, who stars as the Purple Wiggle in the beloved kids' act, announced on Instagram that he and wife Jessie Adamo Pearce are expecting their first baby together. Their baby boy is due in December 2024.

In a joint Instagram Reel, the couple can be seen receiving a call from their doctor, who shared the exciting news and wished the parents-to-be congratulations.

The reel then shows more recent clips from an ultrasound appointment and their gender reveal party. "Can't wait to meet you, little buddy," John exclaims while holding up a sonogram.

"It has been a long journey but our beautiful angel has finally been sent to us. We are so full of joy and can’t wait to meet you 🩵 - baby Adamo Pearce due Dec 2024," the couple captioned their Reel.

On his personal Instagram, John shared a few photos of him and Jessie, writing, "We just want to say thank you for all the positive and kind words, we can’t thank you all enough ☺️ we are so excited to share this journey with you all and we can’t wait to finally be parents ☺️🩵💜 #babyadamopearce."

The Wiggles even got in on the fun and celebrated their cast member's update, sharing a photo of the couple on their Instagram. "Congrats to @johnpearce and @jessieadamopearce, who have shared the news that they are expecting their first child, a baby boy due in December 🥰," the musical group captioned the post.

The Filipino-Australian dancer and member of Australia's Got Talent winners Justice Crew joined The Wiggles in 2021 as the group welcomed four new members when it expanded for a new YouTube series, Fruit Salad TV.

John joined as "Big Strong John," the purple Wiggle who loves fitness and spends his time lifting weights and getting active while he's singing along with the group.

Back in January 2023, The Wiggles became a viral gig for John, when many moms praised "Big Strong John" for more than just the entertainment he was providing for kid viewers.

The comments on Pearce's Instagram posts spoke for themselves. "Oooh 😮 safe to say I'll be tuning into this season!" one woman wrote on a video showing Pearce transforming from his buff, tattoo-covered self into "Big Strong John."

"Where can I watch the wiggles? I mean where can my kids watch?" another wrote.

"I don't remember the fruit salad being this yummy growing up," a user wrote on a transformation video of Pearce becoming the purple Wiggle.
