Woman arrested after nails repeatedly put on road

A woman has been arrested after nails and screws were repeatedly left on a Lincolnshire road, police said.

Lincolnshire Police said it had received "multiple reports" of incidents from the Whaplode area over the past nine months.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of causing danger to road users.

She has been interviewed and released on bail while investigations continue, police confirmed.
