Woman arrested after two men found dead in Hartlepool

A woman has been arrested after two bodies were found at a home in Hartlepool on Friday night.

Police were called to Eaglesfield Road in the seaside town at around 11.40pm and found the two men's bodies.

The woman, aged in her 30s, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

She has been bailed while police continue to investigate.

Police have appealed for information, with a spokesperson adding: "Family members of the men have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers.

"Our thoughts remain with them at this extremely difficult time."
