Woman found dead at Buangkok condo, man arrested

SINGAPORE — A 48-year old man has been arrested, following the discovery of a dead woman at a condominium in Buangkok.

According to the police, a 43-year-old woman was found dead on Friday (3 January) at Esparina Residences. The case has been classified as murder.

A call for assistance was made to the police at 12.07pm at a residential unit at 125 Compassvale Bow.

Upon their arrival, the woman was found unresponsive in the condominium unit. She was subsequently pronounced dead at scene by paramedics.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased and the man knew each other, said the police. Investigations are ongoing.

This is not the first time that a body has been discovered at Esparina Residences.

In April 2018, a 64-year-old man was found dead at the foot of the condominium. It was classified as a case of unnatural death.
