A 35-year-old Caucasian woman who stripped naked at Pioneer MRT station on Wednesday night has been arrested.

Two photos of the woman on the station’s platform have been circulating on social media. One shows the woman holding a man’s hands while an SMRT staff wrapped a towel around her. Another photo shows the woman hugging the man next to two towels on the floor of the platform.

The police received a call for assistance at the station on 6 June 2018 at about 10.30pm, the Singapore Police Force said in a statement on Thursday (7 June).

The woman was arrested under the Mental Health Act.
