World Naked Bike Ride London 2024: date, route, and all you need to know

World Naked Bike Ride London 2024 will attract more than 1,000 nude cyclists to the capital when it returns for its 20th anniversary in June.

The WNBR is a global protest movement holding rides in cities worldwide. It raises awareness of issues such as the safety of cyclists on the road, reducing oil dependence, and saving the planet.

“It’s worthy, it's free, it’s fun, it’s legal and it’s making the world a better place for everyone,” organisers said.

“The campaign seeks to draw attention to its themes by being a fun, well-behaved, lawful spectacle that delights the public and attracts media attention.”

Here is all you need to know about the London event.

Do you have to be naked to take part?

There are no rules and dress code with not every rider going completely naked.

“WNBR London 2023 was on a hot, sunny day, which always brings out a large turnout of riders and big crowds,” organisers said. “We always expect to see over 1,000 riders but last year was massive.”

Riders are asked not to “exercise your right to nudity in London before the ride or spend an unnecessarily long time dressing at the end”.
