Speaking exclusively with Digital Spy, the actor explained Misty will be facing a challenging time as she deals with the distress of losing Natalie.

"Obviously at the end of season two she had just caused Natalie's death - her best friend," Ricci said.

"So, I would imagine it's going to be a bit of an emotional and sort of unhappy beginning of the season, at least for Misty."

However, the actor explained much of the show’s mysterious plot is kept secret ahead of filming.

"I really don’t know that much," Ricci said. "Working on the show, we kind of find out just a little bit before we film. So, I actually don't really know exactly what's in store for Misty."

As a result, Ricci and her co-stars often feel a wave of excitement when they do eventually receive their scripts.

"Everybody on the cast, the second we get the scripts we immediately read them," she remarked. "No matter where I am I’ll pick it up and scan.

"It’s fun to be involved in something that people in general are curious and fascinated by."
