Previously missing Richmond Hill man found, police say

A 49-year-old man from Richmond Hill who had been missing since Sunday was found, York police say.

In a brief statement Thursday, police thanked the public for their assistance in locating the man.

The statement did not elaborate on the man's condition when he was found.

Police previously set up a command post on William F. Bell Parkway as they searched for the man, who was reported missing by his family some time after they had last seen him on Sunday evening.
