Zelenskyy in Germany to participate in Ukraine Recovery Conference, meet with Chancellor Scholz

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in Germany for the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) where he will meet Chancellor Olaf Scholz, he wrote on Telegram on June 11.

"URC2024 will bring together government leaders - ten of them - at the level of prime ministers, business, and international organizations to help Ukraine,” he wrote.

“Urgent solutions for the Ukrainian energy industry will be our main priority amid Russian aerial terror."

German and Ukrainian leaders plan to discuss further defense support, Ukrainian air defense system development, and joint weapon production, as well as "to coordinate positions on the eve of the Peace Summit, the European Council summit, and the NATO summit."

"I will also meet with Germany’s President, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the Bundestag President, Berbel Bas, and visit the military base where our soldiers are trained," Zelenskyy added.
