Adidas has partnered up with ‘Star Wars’ to create a limited edition line of trainers, in celebration of the epic film franchise’s upcoming release ‘Episode VII: The Force Awakens’.

And as you would expect from the German athletic brand and one of the greatest film series of all time, the footwear collection is pretty awesome for movie merchandise. After all, the film’s original fans have moved on since the days of hankering after Chewie boxers and Vader backpacks.

There is a range of different styles in the Mi Star Wars collection but best of all each is completely customisable. You start by picking a base-model Adidas casual trainer, then chose the colours, lace charms, ‘Star Wars’ fabric graphics and metallic treatments that catch your eye. So you can go as intergalactic with your design as you like.

Our personal favourite has to be the metallic sheened pair boasting an embroidered image of C-3PO and R2-D2. Now that’s a shoe for a true Star Wars fan to step out in.

But the branded shoes do come with a hefty price tag – they’ll set you back around £70. Although what’s a handful of tenners when you’re wearing the most badass shoes around.

And buying a pair of these will make waiting for the new film’s release in mid-December a teensy bit easier.
