Andy Lau sings theme song for CCTV Gala
7 Feb – Andy Lau, who is returning to the CCTV Spring Gala Festival after ten years of hiatus from the event, will be performing the theme song at the upcoming show.
As reported on CRI News, the actor will be performing the song "Going Home", which he penned himself.
According to Gala executive director, Yang Lailai, the song is about the true meaning of home.
"It's a really warm song. Since it is written by Andy himself, it reflects his personal feelings and understanding of what home means."
The Hong Kong superstar will be joined by other performers including jazz singer Karen Mok, Taiwanese singer-songwriter David Tao, as well as Chinese actors Tong Dawei and Zhang Fengyi.
