"Bad Neighbours" is back for a sequel

26 Feb – Seth Rogen has announced that "Bad Neighbours" will indeed be getting a sequel, to be produced by his production company, Point Grey Pictures.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal Pictures has set the movie for release in May next year, on a date which the studio had been holding for another R-rated comedy that had yet to be named.

The sequel will once again stars Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne as well as Zac Efron, and will see the return of Nicholas Stoller in the director's chair.

Last year's "Bad Neighbours" follows a young couple with a new baby, living next to a fraternity house, who would do anything to take the frats down.

In the upcoming sequel, the family faces the same problem once again when a raucous sorority replaces the former fraternity. To try and solve the problem, the married couple will have to join forces with their former frat archenemies to fight back.

"Bad Neighbours" earned more than USD260 million worldwide, against its production cost of USD18 million. In Malaysia, it grossed USD576,177 while in Singapore it collected USD635,502.

"Bad Neighbours 2" enters cinemas on 13 May 2016.
