Benny Chan secretly married

13 Jul – Hong Kong singer-actor Benny Chan secretly registered his marriage to model girlfriend Jiang Lisha in her hometown of Changsha, Hunan province.

Jiang Lisha became an overnight success as a "breast stand-in" for Cecilia Cheung in a bra commercial as Lisha shows off more of her "assets" whereas Cecilia shows more of her face. She was also the first runner up in China's Miss Bikini Of The Universe 2005.

As reported in the Xiaoxiang Morning Post on May Daily website, 41-year-old Benny and Lisha refuse to confirm the news but according to close friends of the couple, they said the two got engaged during the Chinese New Year holidays, earlier this year in February.

The now happily married couple plan to hold their wedding banquets in Changsha and Hong Kong possibly next year.

Benny had previously dated TVB actress Charmaine Sheh for four years before they split in 2006.
