Arsenal star Ozil and girlfriend slammed for showing off riches
Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil and his girlfriend, German singer Mandy Capristo, have been slammed by media for showing off their luxury lifestyle on social media and all over prestigious magazines.
The couple moved into their impressive mansion in the exclusive district of London last year after he signed for the Gunners.
However, the lifestyle of the WAG has been unfortunately criticized on social media and by both English and German media after she revealed photos of their home for the first time.
Capristo’s love for antique and luxury furniture, which she used to adorn her piano room in the house, was also publicised in prestigious magazines such as ‘Gala’ and ‘Bunte’.
Ozil and Capristo moved into their “casita”, which consists of six bedrooms, a kitchen and several bathrooms at a rental cost of $9,800 ($12,252).
Their neighbours include prominent celebrities such as Madonna, Hugh Grant and Mick Jagger.
It was also reported last year that the singer made a long list of demands for the mansion, and requested that they all be fulfilled before the couple moved in properly.
Coincidentally, after the article ran, Capristo posted a photo on social media showing herself being “normal” and eating chips on the London Tube.
Elsewhere, after prematurely retiring from the French national team at the age of 27, Manchester City playmaker Samir Nasri has been taking full advantage of the international break by vacationing in Ibiza.
The player announced his retirement after a fallout with manager Didier Deschamps saw him controversially omitted from Les Bleus’ 2014 World Cup squad this summer.
And while his former teammates laboured to a 1-1 draw away to Serbia in their opening Euro 2016 qualifier this week, Nasri passed his time enjoying summer on the party island.
He cruised the popular Spanish hotspot with his Brighton-born model girlfriend, Anara Atanes.
Atanes posted a candid shot of the couple on a boat with the cute caption “Just one more kiss.”
But she can be anything but cute, too: in May, Anara didn’t help her boyfriend’s international cause one bit after publicly blasting Deschamps for leaving Nasri out of the squad.
She tweeted “F*** france and f*** Deschamps! What a s*** manager!” and was allegedly almost slapped with a lawsuit by the coach.
