Two men were charged in court on Tuesday for unlawfully entering and committing mischief at the old Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.

Filipino Mauricio Pocholo Jorge Martinez, 24, and Gan Kwang Cheun, 20, are accused of trespassing at the Keppel Road premises and using spray paint to vandalise a KTM railway carriage around 2am on 12 March.

The Straits Times reported that Gan, who has done national service, is alleged to have committed six more similar crimes at a building under the charge of the Ministry of Defence at Rifle Range Road in March 2010 and January this year.

He also faced a ninth charge, after 126 obscene video films were found in his possession at a house in Upper Bukit Timah on 5 April this year.

Both men, who were not represented by legal counsels, informed the court that they would like to plead guilty. District Judge Christopher Goh adjourned their cases to 26 July.

They faced up to three months jail and a $1,500 fine for criminal trespass, and one year and a fine for mischief.
