Cecilia death threat

6 June – With the current divorce debacle surrounding Hong Kong celebrity couple; Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung, various sources claim that the actress had threatened to kill her two children and commit suicide, according to a report by All Pop website

It is learnt that this would be the second time that Cecilia had made the threat. The first happened three years ago when the controversial photos of her and Edison Chen got leaked to the media, generating a huge wave of negative attention onto her family.

When Nicholas was shooting "The Storm Warriors II" in 2008, Cecilia brought Lucas (the elder son) to Thailand, where she begged for forgiveness. It is reported Cecilia screamed that if Nicholas did not forgive her, she would rather die and ran towards the balcony of his hotel room carrying Lucas in her arms.

It was reported that since they got married, Nicholas had transferred some 70 per cent of his assets to Cecilia, as demanded by her when the actor refused to give her HK$50mil (S$8mil) to buy two luxury homes, causing a furious Cecilia to send a text message to him; "I will disappear with the two sons, you will regret!"

After the incident last month that saw Cecilia and ex-flame Edison Chen cozying it up on a flight back from Taipei, it is reported that the episode struck Nicholas' final chord.

Initially Nicholas had taken three days off from shooting "Against War" in Malaysia to spend time with Cecilia on her birthday, but he decided to stay back. The fuming Cecilia again, sent a threatening message to Nicholas, saying: "I want a divorce!"

Sources claim that an angry Nicholas then threw his phone on the ground and agreed to the split where Cecilia immediately stormed his cellphone with tons of text messages.

The couple who are both 30, was spotted without their wedding rings recently. Cecilia and Lucas have moved into their new rented home while Quintus (the younger son) lives with Nicholas' mother; Deborah.

According to latest news reports, the couple would sign the separation documents today, Monday, 6 June 2011.
