Where all the COE money go?

Five years ago, I bought my Hyundai Trajet for less than $70K. Now for the same price, I can't even afford the COE. So what has changed. The only drastic change is the increase in population. Too many people on such a small island!

        Question ; who's the damn bugger culprit ? ? Answer : $A$ gahmen obviously !
      • What's Right 5 months ago
5 years ago, your Trajet should not have cost $70k, it should have been around $85k if the then Transport Minister had not mess up the COE release. Then today, the price would have hovered around thereof.

Today we are getting the 'aftershock".

That's why, government's policy are very important ie. quality and ability of highly paid Minister must commensurate with their pay.

Was wondering what had happened to Gerard Ee and his pay review for the Ministers? 2011 is ending soon.

NO SHIT !!!!..............COE cut-throat price$ ' FALL ' across all categories.........Folks, what it means in other words is that today's COE ( Certificate Of Extortion ) is less absurdly over-priced then yesterday's. Imagine, $50,001 minimum upfront for a piece of paper if you were to buy a small car below 1500cc.

yea... low for the rich but high for the poor. Owning a vehicle is history of the past. Today, it is only meant for the elite.

Singaporeans deserve the COE to drive cars. Singaporeans voted in a government that implemented such policy. Do not blame the monkey. Blame the idiots who allowed the monkey to manage the banana plantation.

The drop in COE to the rich is nothing but to others it is still expensive.

If you have COE to control car population, why do LTA have all these taxes?
Registration Fee, ARF, PARF, Excise Duty, Road Tax, Special Tax.
Why is the govt making so much money from the people???
