Colin Firth wins Audie Award for 'The End of The Affair'

Colin Firth's reading of Graham Greene classic "The End of the Affair" won Audiobook of the Year at the 2013 Audie Awards on May 31.

Fellow finalists in the grand prize category were White House kitchen garden journey "American Grown," read and written by Michelle Obama, "Beautiful Ruins" by Jess Walter and read by Edoardo Ballerini (Corky Caporale in "The Sopranos") and "Killing Kennedy," read and written by Bill O'Reilly in conjunction with Martin Dugard.

Also among the winners in 31 categories were Claire Danes's reading of "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood, children's books "The Great Cake Mystery" by Alexander McCall Smith and read by Adijoa Andoh and "Same Sun Here" read by authors Silas House and Neela Vaswani, the Charlton Griffin narration of Charles Dickens's "Dombey and Son," and Simon Vance telling the tale of "Bring Up The Bodies" by Hilary Mantel.
