Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition dated for August 20 in Asia

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (D3:ROS UEE) will launch in Singapore on August 20 this year, bringing with it a slew of bonuses and more gory fun times.

D3:ROS UEE’s Playstation 4 (PS4) version will cost S$69.90 ($56.30), while its Playstation 3 (PS3) iteration will cost S$49.90 ($40). We’ve reached out to Sony to confirm if this date applies to the rest of Asia as well.

As if to celebrate D3:ROS UEE‘s existence on the Playstation console, Blizzard Entertainment has provided a unique Nephalem Rift and a transmogrification set.

The Last of Us Nephalem Rift will feature creatures from the same game (clickers, anyone?) as well as a pervasive yellow spore effect, and is available exclusively to the D3:ROS UEE. The Shadow of the Colossus transmogrification set will award players with the Guise of the Colossi transmogrification plans. These plans will unlock six different armor appearances inspired by the Playstation 2 game, Shadow of the Colossus, and can be used by all classes.

Additionally, all players who pre-order or purchase the D3:ROS UEE game within its initial shipment will receive the exclusive in-game Infernal Pauldrons. The Infernal Pauldrons can be equipped at level one and provides extra vitality, life per second, and cooldown reduction, and can be redeemed once the game launches in August 20.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition is both the Reaper of Souls expansion and an improvement upon it. Along with all the updates we’ve come to know and love in Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, the Ultimate Evil Edition introduces an Apprentice mode that buffs lower-levelled players when they pair up with higher-levelled friends, treasure sharing via an in-game mail system, and play gifts with rare loot. Playstation 3 characters from the original console edition of Diablo III can be transferred to either the PS3 or PS4 versions of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition.
