"Helios" to close Beijing Film Festival

12 Apr – "Helios", the follow-up to Sunny Luk and Longman Leung's award-winning film, "Cold War", has been selected to be the closing film of the 5th Beijing International Film Festival, as reported on CRI News.

The film, starring a star-studded cast that include Hong Kong's Jacky Cheung and Nick Cheung, Korea's Ji Jin-hee, Taiwan's Chang Chen, and mainland actor Wang Xueqi, tells the story of military elites from China and South Korea who team up to manage a nuclear weapon crisis.

The movie is set to screen in Singapore and Malaysia this 30 April.

Meanwhile, Tsui Hark's "The Taking of Tiger Mountain" will be vying for the Tiantian Award.

The 5th Beijing International Film Festival will kick off on 16 April.
