The hottest discussions on e-comm, gaming, innovation to take place this Saturday

Called Boston Consulting Group Technology Media Telecom Summit, the conference will be held at INSEAD; will feature speakers from Google, Facebook

In congruence with INSEAD’s mission to create a non-dogmatic learning environment that brings together people, cultures and ideas from around the world; the Technology, Media, Telecommunications Club (TMT) will organise a summit together sponsored by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) on Saturday, April 12 , 2014.

Called the Boston Consulting Group Technology Media Telecom Summit, it will be held at INSEAD again after its success during its launch last year. It would feature speakers from BCG, Google, Facebook, Ubisoft, PayPal, and 3M, who will discuss consumer behaviour, innovation and gaming across Southeast Asia.

The event will feature a consumer technology e-commerce panel, whereby a discussion will be conducted on ‘e-Commerce in Southeast Asia’ with perspectives from Facebook, Google, BCG and more. A gaming panel will also explore the different business models, before concluding with the possible opportunities in the industry. This panel will feature representatives from Ubisoft, PayPal and Rock Nano.

Subsequently, there will be an innovation panel with 3M, which will discuss the future of technology. Lastly, INSEAD startups will be allowed to pitch to a panel of angel/ VC investors comprising individuals from 99.co and Golden Gate Ventures.

TMT Co-Lead Arvin Singh said, “The BCG TMT Summit is the highlight event of INSEAD’s TMT club. By bringing in top organisations in the technology, media and telecommunications space, we hope to inspire attendees to explore opportunities in these sectors. Our panels will focus on e-commerce, gaming and innovation in Southeast Asia, while the closing session will showcase INSEAD startups pitching to an experienced panel of angel and VC investors.”
