Indie Songstress Kimbra Returns To Singapore Shores
With the announcement of acts such as Passion Pit, Muse and The Smith’s Johnny Marr, 2015 is shaping up to be a pretty neat year for indie music lovers in Singapore. We’ve received news that indie songstress and Laneway Festival alumni Kimbra will be returning to our shores for a solo show!
The New Zealander, well-known for hits such as “Settle Down”, “90’s Music” and “Cameo Lover”, will be performing at the Boutique, a new location at Orchard Plaza, this coming August 12th.
Fans might be familiar with the singer for her well-received collaboration and Grammy winning single “Somebody I Used To Know” with fellow experimental pop singer Gotye.
Kimbra was previously part of a stellar St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival line-up in 2013, which consisted of alternative acts such as Natasha Khan’s Bat For Lashes, Tame Impala, Alt-J and Gotye.
Tickets are available at an early bird price of $78, and can be purchased at https://tickets.eventclique.com/thegathering/Online/default.asp
