Jiang Wen lashes at reporters
8 Jul – Jiang Wen, actor and director of China's highest grossing film, "Let the Bullets Fly", was involved in a vicious confrontation with media reporters upon arrival at a Hong Kong court, according to a report on May Daily's website.
The 48-year-old was seen with a boy, which is apparently said to be his son. A video was also released on May Daily along with the report.
Jiang Wen was at court, seen with his actress wife, Zhou Yun and two children, but the other child with him on that day is unknown.
Wen was angered at being ambushed by reporters gathered outside to cover the former general manager of Television Broadcasts Ltd (TVB), Stephen Chan, with his alleged corruption and fraud case.
Also stated on the website, a female reporter was attacked by the actor-director when he pushed her camera away causing the equipment to hit her on the face.
