Keppel Corp listed on global sustainability index

Keppel Corporation has been included on the latest Euronext Vigeo World 120 index, which lists the company as among the top 120 companies in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific for control of corporate responsibility risk and contribution to sustainable development.

This is the second time Keppel Corporation has been included on the Euronext Vigeo World 120 index. Companies listed in the index were selected from over 2,500 companies with the largest market capitalisations across 39 sectors globally.

The company was assessed across six key domains of responsible performance: environment, business behaviour, human rights, governance, human resources and community involvement.

"For us, sustainability is a journey and we recognise that there are always opportunities to improve. With operations in over 30 countries worldwide, Keppel is committed to be a responsible corporate citizen that positively impacts the communities where we operate," said Loh Chin Hua, CEO of Keppel Corporation and Chairperson of Keppel's Group Sustainability Steering Committee.

The Euronext Vigeo World 120 index is developed by NYSE Euronext, the world's largest exchange group, and Vigeo, a leading European expert in responsible performance. Vigeo reviews and updates the index twice a year to ensure accuracy and relevance.
