Leon Lai has the Weibo fever

30 Jun – The list of Weibo users just expanded as Cantopop Leon Lai has just succumbed to the Weibo social networking trend, according to reports from Sina website.

After the 44-year-old singer opened a new account at the growing Chinese social networking site, Michelle Reis, his ex-girlfriend, is the first person he follows.

Leon's first post read, "Just to say Hi. I'm here! Leon," which was directed to his fans. Overnight, his list of followers mounted to more than 50, 000. As of today, he has a whopping total of 122,770 followers.

The five celebrities he follows are old friends of his. They include Michelle, pop diva Faye Wong, actress Zhang Ziyi, Chinese director Chen Kaige and Janice Man, an artiste he is currently managing.

Leon is happily married to Gaile Lok, one of Hong Kong's top models and is still on good terms with his former flame Michelle.
