Ray Lui Leung Wai had four wives?

15 Jul – Veteran Hong Kong actor Ray Lui Leung Wai, 54, has a secret: he was actually married four times and not three times as claimed in his autobiography, 'The Road Is Endlessly Wide' according to Sina website as reported by Daily Chilli.

The revelation came when his 'undisclosed' daughter, Lui Sin Ying, 20, gave an explosive interview to Next Magazine.

According to the top Hong Kong publication, she bears an uncanny resemblance to her dad.

In the exclusive, Sin Ying praised her famous dad - who shot to stardom via 1980 TVB period drama classic "The Bund" alongside Chow Yun Fatt and Angie Chiu Nga Zi, for taking good care of her, her mum and her 18-year-old sister, Lui Sin Teng.

"It's true daddy has hidden our identities for 20 years," she confessed. "But it's alright. He took good care of us - even mummy after they're divorced."

Even though they could hardly spend time together, Sin Ying said she enjoyed reading about her dad. "I followed his news everyday."

She declined to discuss her family further but assured that her mum was 'a nobody' as compared to Cally Kwong and Kathy Chow - two Hong Kong actresses that the 'industrious' Lui had married.

But in an emergency press conference, Ray's current wife, Yeung Siu Kwan has condemned Next Magazine, saying it's notorious for misreporting.

"Lui Sin Ying and Liu Sin Teng are Ray's nieces," explained Yeung. "They are his brother's daughters. The magazine didn't get their facts right. They wrote just to sensationalise the story. It's very damaging to my husband and our families."

The whole Lui family stood by her, including Sin Ying, Sin Teng and Ray's younger brother, Kok Keong.

Sin Ying also attested to her aunt's statement, claiming she's been misquoted.

"The reporter asked me if I'm Ah Yan's (Ray's sister-in-law) daughter. I said yes. He didn't ask who my dad is. He also asked if I had seen my dad's movies. I said yes because my dad Lui Kok Leong is also a TV actor."
