Stephen Fung denies cohabitation rumours

22 Sep – Actor-turned-director Stephen Fung recently dismissed rumours of cohabitation with alleged girlfriend, Shu Qi.

According to a report on HK Top Ten, previously, rumours of cohabitation spread like wild fire when the actor was caught driving to the actress's residence on several occasions. It also sparked rumours that the couple has finally decided to make their relationship official.

While attending a movie premiere recently, Stephen denied the rumours as usual, and stressed that the two of them are only good friends. However, he admitted that he would visit her at home occasionally.

Refusing to talk about the subject any further, Stephen revealed that he will begin a new film in November and is currently in preparation for the production.

Asked if Shu Qi will star in the movie, Stephen replied, "She won't. Though we have not worked together for a long time, I don't think that the script would be suitable for her."

On the other hand, when asked to comment about the recent conflict between Stephen Chow and Charles Heung's wife, Tiffany Chen, the actor pointed out that he has no issue with the comedy genius, and that his collaboration with Stephen Chow on the 2009 movie "Jump" was a harmonious one.

"I won't mind working with him again. He actually asked me to co-direct his new film "Mermaid", but I turned it down due to scheduling conflict," he said.
