Zhang Ziyi denies May wedding

8 Apr – Zhang Ziyi's camp has dismissed rumours of an upcoming wedding in May.

According to Mingpao News, previously, the mainland tabloids reported that the Chinese actress will be marrying her fiancé, rock star Wang Feng, on 2 May in a grand event to be held in Beijing.

However, on 7 April, her representative stated that the actress will not be tying the knot on that date, and that the marriage rumours are purely fictional.

"There is indeed a wedding on that particular date, but it's for one of Zhang Ziyi's staff," said the representative.

The couple got engaged back in February at Zhang Ziyi's birthday party.
