10-Year-Old Headbanger Has Simon Cowell Saying 'Whoa!' In 'AGT' Audition

A 10-year-old guitarist from India showed her metal on “America’s Got Talent” ― and she said it was her first time performing onstage. (Watch the video below.)

Maya Neelakantan slayed Papa Roach’s “Last Resort” before a delightfully surprised panel and crowd in Tuesday’s episode.

Judge Simon Cowell had one word to sum up Maya’s headbanging artistry as he watched her perform: “Whoa!”

She strummed slowly at first, then let loose.

Cowell said she “turned into this rock goddess.”

“I think you just picked yourself up a viral moment,” fellow panelist Howie Mandel correctly predicted.

Several outletsreported on her electric audition.

Maya plays on a YouTube channel managed by her parents but she faced entirely different circumstances on a nationally televised competition.

“What an honor that I got to play for the first time on stage and it’s on America’s Got Talent!” she wrote on the show’s YouTube clip of her performance. “Thank you for creating an unforgettable memory for me!!”

Keep rockin’ to the top, kid.
