The Rome Film Festival has unveiled the lineup of its 11th edition, including a string of world premieres and films not yet screened at other festivals.

The event, which will run from October 13-23, is also set to welcome several stars and industry greats for onstage conversations, such as Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep, David Mamet, Don DeLillo, Bernardo Bertolucci, Roberto Benigni, Andrzej Wajda, and Viggo Mortensen, among others -- in addition to a range of special events.

The film program includes 24 world premieres in total, including the Benedict Cumberbatch-narrated documentary "Naples '44" by Italian director Francesco Patierno; Iranian drama "Immortality" by Mehdi Fard Ghaderi; and the Chinese 3D martial arts blockbuster "Sword Master," directed by Derek Yee.

The festival will kick off with Barry Jenkins' "Moonlight" as the opening film, with Garth Davis' "Lion" selected as the closer (via Variety).
