It's hard to believe that the PlayStation 5 is almost four years old, and in that time we've seen the launch of some incredible games, many of which are console exclusives.
These days PS5 consoles are a lot easier to get your hands on compared to the first couple years it was released (you can see the best PlayStation 5 console deals here if you're looking to get one.)
From first-party blockbuster PlayStation flagship titles to indie games from smaller studios, it's hard to argue that the PS5 isn't the best gaming console on the market right now, especially with the portable PlayStation Portal and PS VR2 now available.
With so many great games available it's almost impossible to narrow it down, but we at Digital Spy have come up with a list of our favourite 13 games on PS5, along with some honourable mentions that slightly missed the final cut:

This underrated mystery adventure game is all about exploring an open-world ancient Roman city as you investigate a missing person. Encouraged to solve problems through dialogue that has multiple options and outcomes, this is a game we couldn't put down.
Whether you're using reason, charm, bribery, intimidation or even violence, this unique time-loop adventure based on a hugely popular Skyrim mod is some of the most fun we've had on PS5.
12. Marvel's Spider-Man 2
PlayStation 5 exclusive Spider-Man 2 is a must-play for superhero and Spidey fans, offering the definitive web swinging experience as you play as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in this tag-teaming action-adventure game.
With smooth gameplay full of fun traversal mechanics, a blockbuster comic book story, and a huge New York City to swing, glide and crawl around, this is definitely some of the most fun you can have on your PS5.
11. Tetris Effect: Connected
Tetris Effect's marriage between the gameplay and the audiovisual presentation is mesmerising. The way the backdrop evolves and the music syncs in line with your play results in a game that reels you in and never lets you go.
This is the best version of Tetris out there, and as a bonus, those with PlayStation VR should try playing it in virtual reality.
10. Astro's Playroom
With every PlayStation 5 console coming with this preinstalled for free, there's no excuse to not try out Astro's Playroom, which just so happens to be one of the most fun platformers out right now, and a great teaser for the upcoming Astro Bot full game release coming in September.
Full of adorable characters, creative mechanics and snappy controls, Astro's Playroom is a love letter to PlayStation that acts as a showcase for the DualSense controller, which also just so happens to have some of the best music going.
