13 minutes of J-Stars awesomeness
To hype up the soon to be released J-Stars Victory Vs, Bandai Namco has been putting out new character introductions every week for some time now. We’ve seen in-depth videos on how Luffy, Toriko, and even Goku will fight, but J-Stars’ newest promotion video gives a glimpse into every single one of the 52 playable characters fighting styles.
This video features every single playable and supporting character from the 32 featured anime. Seeing all of my favorite characters fight in this promotion video was enough to get me excited, but what was really notable about this thirteen minute clip was the dialogue shared between characters.
With each anime transition, one character made some comment about or to whoever the next fighter was. When introducing Koro Sensei, Luffy says, “Eh? He looks like an octopus. Can I eat him?” These bits of dialogue showed off the game’s sense of humor, and will undoubtedly make J-Stars all the more enjoyable to play.
J-Stars Victory Vs will be available in Japan on the Playstation 3 and PS Vita as of March 19, 2014. No news yet as to whether or not the game will get an international release, but we will let you know if it does.
