17-Year-Old MMA Phenom Victoria Lee Returning To Circle At ONE: BATTLEGROUND
After Victoria “The Prodigy” Lee‘s stunning ONE Championship debut, she’s looking for another jaw-dropping performance in her sophomore outing.
The atomweight mixed martial artist will face Wang “Little Sprouts” Lu Ping at ONE: BATTLEGROUND on Friday, 30 July, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
“The Prodigy” last entered the Circle against Sunisa “Thunderstorm” Srisen at ONE: FISTS OF FURY earlier this year, scoring a second-round rear-naked choke submission of the Thai.
In the process, she became the third Lee to compete in ONE Championship; her sister is reigning ONE Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee and her brother is current ONE Lightweight World Champion Christian “The Warrior” Lee.
At ONE: BATTLEGROUND, the teenage phenom will open the show against an athlete with five times the professional experience. However, Srisen was in a similar position, yet she could not overcome Lee.
Headlining the event is a ONE Super Series Muay Thai clash between two-sport ONE Strawweight World Champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao and dangerous challenger Prajanchai PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym.
Sam-A will put his ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title on the line against the debuting Prajanchai, who is one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the sport.
In the co-main event, former two-division World Champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang will return to action against Leandro Ataides. The winner could very well put himself in front of current ONE Middleweight World Champion Reinier “The Dutch Knight” de Ridder.
