The Queue: Invasions, work orders, and more

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

Yes, more garrison questions. What can you do?

loli.gigis asked:

How long after you get an invasion quest does it go away? Is it with the reset or after 7 days?

I believe those quests remain until you complete them. There was a bug when the expansion launched that caused progress toward garrisons invasions to reset weekly, but they fixed that. If progress towards an invasion does not reset on a weekly basis, I don't see why the quests themselves would.

JeffLaBowski asked:

So like, these work orders. Some of them get done and some don't. Does it take 3-4 hours per work order? Also, It seems I'm getting ripped off on Apexis crystals on some of them too. Is this working as intended?

Commenters already answered this question for you, but I'll do it again in case others are curious. Work orders take 4 hours to complete. A work order does not begin to process until the one before it is complete. So after 4 hours, one will be finished. After 4 more hours for a total of 8 hours, the second one will be finished. And so on. Apexis Crystals only come from work orders in Medium or Large garrison buildings (and your mine) and it isn't guaranteed that you will get any. They're a bonus. A fairly common bonus, but a bonus nonetheless, not a sure thing.

buffntuff32 asked:

Why is the Shattrath daily worth more apexis crystals?

I'm going to take the easy route and paste Razwick82's answer:

There are two separate Shattrath dailies. One is assaulting the harbour, is solo and only gives 800 crystals. The other is assaulting the heart of Shattrath, which requires fighting more elites, is a group quest, and gives 1000 crystals.

Then Razwick82 asked:

When/is that 'mind on my Draenor money' hotfix happening? It was mentioned yesterday that they were nerfing it from 10k to 2.5k, but my achievement panel still says 10k.

That hotfix has gone live but they can't change tooltips/item descriptions/achievement descriptions without a client patch. You'll earn the achievement when you hit 2,500 gold, but the achievement will continue to say it requires 10,000 until the game gets a clientside update. Maybe patch 6.1, maybe some sort of interim cleanup patch they may or may not do before then.

Ron2 asked:

Related to today's Deserter column, what do you think of Rez Sickness? Do you think it's fine as it is? Do you have any suggestions to improve it? Personally, I don't mind the durability penalty, and 10 minutes seems like a reasonable duration, but a 75% reduction in stats seems pretty severe. It basically means I have to go AFK for ten minutes, or at least find some activity where I can't possibly get into combat.

I think it serves its purpose. It's there to make you at least try retrieving your corpse. Otherwise people will simply start using graveyards as shortcuts between point A and point B during questing and that's a bit silly -- dying on purpose as a means of travel. Rez rickness makes resurrecting at a graveyard something you only do when you have no other option, or can't be bothered to take other options and are willing to eat the penalty. That's fine by me.

I'd also be okay with it being removed, honestly. I don't think it's that big of a deal either way.
