About half of these participants will be represented by heads of state or government, including French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

President Amherd noted that approximately 160 invitations were issued for the summit, and while fewer than 100 have accepted so far, this has not been seen as a disappointment by the Swiss government. The final attendee list is expected to be published on July 14.
