Aaron Kwok will think twice before doing "Monkey King 3"

16 Jan - Just like his predecessor Donnie Yen, Aaron Kwok revealed recently that he will think twice before agreeing to play the titular role in "The Monkey King 3".

According to On CC, the actor, who left his role as the Bull Demon King in the first movie to replace the martial arts actor in the role of Sun Wukong, stated that the character was one of the toughest he has ever encountered.

"Filming this movie was the toughest time I had since I joined the entertainment industry. I am thoroughly exhausted, both physically and mentally," said the actor.

Aaron said that he hasn't thought about donning the hairy costume again if there is a third movie.

"The past four months have not been easy. I had to wear a muscle suit every day. Even that made other modern movies look much easier," he said.

"It took hours to put it on, and I couldn't even go to the toilet because it would take more time to get it off and on again."

Meanwhile, Aaron revealed that he is currently filming "The Eternal Wave" and will not be home for Lunar New Year.
