Addison Rae is no stranger to throwback fashion, and took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off her latest aughts-inspired look.

In the post, the 21-year-old actress and social media sensation posed for photos while rocking one Y2K trend that's back in the style spotlight: cargo pants.

Rae paired American Eagle's $56 CAD/$60 USD AE Skater Pant with the $30 CAD/$40 USD AE Smocked Crochet Halter Top for the ultimate early aughts look.

"So many ways to wear my favourite tops this summer with American Eagle cargos and baggy jeans," she wrote.

The pants are designed with a high rise and wide leg for a slouchy fit. Cargo pocket detailing also adds the finishing touch to these lightweight pants.

Fans online flooded the comments with heart-eye and fire emojis, as followers noted that Rae looked "drop dead gorgeous."

"Absolutely stunning," raved one follower.

"Every colour looks good on you. Not kidding," wrote another.

"You are gorgeous as always," one person commented.

Rae also shared a clip wearing the same cargo pants to her TikTok account, which quickly racked up more than 2 million views.

Rae asked her followers to help choose her outfit for the day, as she posed in three vintage-inspired looks. In the other two outfits, Rae paired baggy-fitting jeans with two summer-ready tank tops, all from American Eagle.

The "He's All That" star has been working with American Eagle as a brand ambassador since 2020, and previously spoke about the partnership in an interview with Seventeen.

"I love working with AE. It's a brand I've been wearing for as long as I can remember," she said at the time. "I love how they support creativity and self-expression, which is what I've built my platform around."
