Ai-Ai delas Alas is getting married!
14 Apr - Ai-Ai delas Alas is now engaged to boyfriend, Gerald Sibayan.
The actress revealed the good news online on 11 April through a video that features a series of photos from the proposal, accompanied by Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me".
Through the photos, which was taken on their third anniversary celebration, it was shown that Sibayan wrapped a heart-shaped note in plastic with the words, "Will You Marry Me?" and put it inside delas Alas' coffee.
The plastic cup also bears the words, "Can you be my missus?".
At the end of the video, delas Alas can be seen giving Sibayan a kiss, with the word "Yes!" written on the palm of her hand.
She wrote, "Some knots are meant to be tied forever. Our journey is not perfect but it's ours and I'll stick with you till the end. I will pray to our great God that our journey will be smooth and sweet towards eternity."
"Happy [third] year anniversary my darling and thank you for the very [expensive-looking] flowers," she added.
The said flowers were a pot of green roses Sibayan bought for her from Marian Rivera's flower shop, Flora Vida.
delas Alas also added the hashtag "This is it 2018", which indicated that she plans to marry Sibayan next year.
Prior to her relationship with Sibayan, delas Alas was married to actor Miguel Vera, and had a brief marriage with Jed Salang in 2013.
