Aimee Chan discredits rumour

17 Apr – TVB actress Aimee Chan recently debunked rumours that she was sexually harassed at a film set.

As reported on Groove Asia website, a tabloid had earlier reported that the actress, who was filming for her new drama, "Outbound Love" in Malaysia, was being taken advantage of by the extras, who actually groped her during a sexual harassment scene.

The tabloid then reported that her co-stars Ruco Chan and Matt Yeung, as well as the crew did not stop them, and that Aimee instead reported the incident to boyfriend, Moses Chan, who was in Hong Kong.

On 15 April, the actress stepped up to dismiss the rumour, saying that no such thing happened to her.
Aimee clarified, "I'm fine! Nothing like that happened. It's just a matter of the camera angles. We all had a pleasant collaboration. It was very harmonious."

Meanwhile, TVB Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Mr. Tsang Sing Ming expressed, "Catherine Tsang talks to the crew on a daily basis. She knows clearly of what is happening. Today when we saw the report, we contacted the producer and the crew. Nothing like what the report said happened. The outdoor filming is going smoothly and they are collaborating well."
